The 18-year-old When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? superstar uploaded a snippet on Wednesday (July 30) on her Instagram of her forthcoming single, “my future,” due out on Thursday (July 30).

“Can’t you hear me? I’m not coming home / Do you understand? / I’ve changed my plans,” she emotionally sings on the tune.

The song’s release would mark her first new music since her James Bond theme “No Time To Die,” and follows 2019′s “Everything I Wanted.” Billie‘s massively critically hailed debut, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was released last year. The album won Album of the Year at the 2020 Grammys.

Billie recently revealed on her radio show with her dad that she grew up loving the debut single by this unexpected singer.
